A violent thug subjected his seriously ill dad to repeated and sustained attacks in his own home as he was supposed to be caring for him.

David Vickers was locked up for 20 months for abusing his dad after he moved into his home in Holbeck.

Leeds Crown Court heard that Vickers lifted the him out of a rocking chair and deliberately dropped him to the floor.
