'My kitchen is ruined': Leeds mum left furious after faulty pipe flooded house with sewage

Megan Dickinson, 24, first started experiencing problems in her Farnley home in January.

Megan, a single mum to a 5-year-old boy, told the Yorkshire Evening Post that her kitchen consistently floods with sewage due to a collapse in the pipe running from her bathroom to her garden.

She has now been left with a huge hole in the garden which fills up with water every time she or her son uses the toilet, sink or bath.

Megan said the council have been out to her home on multiple occasions but she has still not had the problem resolved.

Leeds council said an apology had 'been offered to Miss Dickinson for the time it is taking to resolve the issue'.

However, she said the council will 'not do a single thing' to help her and is at her wits end with the situation.
