Six of Leeds Rhinos’ injured players - including four half-backs - are expected to be available for selection over the next few weeks, the club say.

Rhinos were without 11 players, through injury or suspension, when they lost 14-13 at Huddersfield Giants last Sunday.

Leeds have no game this weekend, but skipper Luke Gale is on course to feature at home to Wakefield Trinity next Friday, May 14, after missing four matches with a fractured thumb.

Fellow half-back Kyle Eastmond was ruled out of last weekend's fixture after sustaining a grade one hamstring tear during the final training session the previous day, but is also expected to be in contention to face Wakefield

Stand-off Rob Lui is 11 weeks into his recovery from a pre-season quad muscle tear and could be back in the mix by the end of this month.

Rhinos’ fourth specialist half-back, Callum McLelland, is now in training after surgery on a groin injury and the club say he hopes to be back on the field in the “near future”.
