Yorkshire mill workers sent home after staff test positive for coronavirus
Three workers at Camira Fabrics, in Meltham, Kirklees are now recovering at home. The company has asked its other night-shift staff – approximately 15 people – to self-isolate for the next two weeks.
They will be offered testing for Covid-19 at a Mobile Testing Unit on site.

Camira Fabrics, which is now liaising with Kirklees Council and Public Health England, is the latest workplace in the borough to be affected by the virus.
Kirklees made the news back in June when the Kober Ltd meat factory in Hunsworth, near Cleckheaton, was revealed as the site of a coronavirus outbreak. That case involved up to 150 staff.
There followed further outbreaks at bed factories in Batley and Liversedge.

Anyone else who may have come into contact with the cases outside of work will be followed up by NHS Test and Trace – they may be advised to self-isolate for 14 days.
The company will continue to operate as normal during the daytime under ongoing safety protocols in line with Government guidance.
Kirklees Council says that whilst the risk to residents from this latest outbreak is very low, everyone in the borough should continue to socially distance, wash hands regularly for 20 seconds with soap and water and get tested if they have symptoms.
