Cardigan Centre.

CARDIGAN CENTRE
The Cardigan Centre works in NW Leeds to improve the quality of life for local people. The public building known as the Cardigan Centre is based in south Headingley and is used for a wide-range of activities. Activities are also held in other neighbourhoods including Little London, Kirkstall, Hawksworth and Woodhouse. Services offered include youth work, programmes for older people, handyperson and gardening scheme, play schemes, help with business administration, offices and rooms to rent, healthy living activities and community information.

The Cardigan Centre is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Local people are encouraged to join the board of trustees / directors, or one of its subcommittees. Anyone who supports the work can become a member of the Cardigan Centre for a modest fee. There are opportunities to volunteer throughout the organisation.
