Jewish students at universities in Leeds say they are facing increasing incidents of antisemitism, according to the president of the city’s Jewish Society.
Some young members have also told leaders in the society – which covers the University of Leeds, Leeds Beckett University, and the Leeds Arts University – that they have been afraid to wear religious necklaces on campus.
It follows the attack on Israel earlier this month by the Palestinian terror group Hamas, in which more than 1,400 people were killed and 220 hostages were taken.
