Headingley: Police appeal after robbery

Police are appealing for information to a robbery which occured outside a newsagents in Headingley.


on Otley Road in the Headingley area at 6.10am onb Saturday, October 9.

The victim, a 51 year old bus driver, was walking towards his parked bus as he was approached from behind by a man carrying a knife.

The suspect demanded a blue holdall containing cash before making off with the bag and other personal belongings in the direction of Skyrack public house.

The victim did not sustain any injuries during this incident.

The suspect is described as white male, aged between 22 and 23, around 5'8 to 5'9 of slim build with a slim, gaunt face.

He was wearing a grey hooded top and dark coloured bottoms.
