Lawnswood School's kitchen has been given a top five star rating by environmental health officers.
The school's kitchen was inspected and audited for for food hygiene compliance which included checking:
* All Areas – main kitchen area specifically looking at cleanliness, fridge storage, chemical storage, dry stores, and the general appearance
* Records – the catering management system/ temperature control, cooking, storage, pest control, personal hygiene, food hygiene training
* Samples – food samples of produce made
It is then rated on a five star basis for all aspects on food hygiene, 5 meaning excellent.
Well done to all the dinnner staff employed by Carillion who work at Lawnswood School.
