A man was attacked and had a mystery liquid sprayed in his eyes outside his home in Headingley.
The victim, aged in his 60s, had returned from work at around 11.20pm on Friday to his home in Woodbridge Gardens.

He was removing bags from his car when three men suddenly appeared.

The men sprayed him in the face with an unknown liquid and hit him on the head.

The man's attackers then snatched his bags and ran off into the woods at the rear of Woodbridge Gardens.

The three men were all around 5ft 10in tall and of medium build.

All wore dark clothing and hooded tops.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Kate Lonsdale at North West Leeds CID on 0845 6060606 or Crimestoppers, anonymously and in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
