A stalker smashed the windows of his estranged wife's home and bombarded her with threatening voicemails days after being released from prison.

Dean Simpson was returned to jail for two and a half years for tormenting his former partner of 13 years at her home in Belle Isle.

Leeds Crown Court heard how the couple have a daughter together but split up five years ago due to his drinking.
