Fireman adopts stray kitten he rescued from Yorkshire rubbish tip
A firefighter has taken a stray kitten he helped to rescue from a bottle bank into his home.
Shipley Fire Station watch manager Darren Creighton has now adopted the black cat, who was discovered in a skip at a recycling site in Eccleshill, near Bradford, last month.
He has named her Spell and she had moved in with Darren's family; heartwarming photos show her befriending his dog Lucy.
