Leeds Sports Awards 2019: New Leeds Cares category celebrating keeping active

From hospital nurses who work tirelessly getting patients back on their feet or community groups that support elderly people to exercise, those who go the extra mile when it comes to keeping the city active deserve to be celebrated.

And today the YEP can reveal that next year’s Leeds Sports Awards will now do just that.

Organisers have announced that a new Leeds Cares Award is being introduced into the star-studded ceremony this year, which takes place in February.
