Yeadon Town Hall celebrating 140th anniversary
To celebrate the milestone birthday, the Yeadon Town Hall team are sharing a selection of memories, stories and birthday wishes from the local community on its social media pages.
And people are being invited to the town hall's first ever Community Market on Saturday September 5 and Sunday 6.

Hide AdThe Grade II listed building, which dates back to 1880 and was built with cash raised through public subscription, sponsorships and donations.
Yeadon Town Hall, which was designed by local architect William Hill, is a striking French Gothic building which is well-known for its stunning stained glass windows, historical architecture and the Town Hall clock tower.
In April 2019, Yeadon Town Hall CIC officially took over management of the building.
Since then, extensive renovations have taken place and the town hall’s transformation is still ongoing.

Hide AdYeadon Town Hall is a venue for a diverse programme of theatre, live music gigs and comedy shows.
Jamie Hudson, chief executive officer at Yeadon Town Hall, said: “Locals love the town hall thanks to its stunning architecture and characterful history.
"We’re working hard to make sure Yeadon Town Hall is part of the community for the next 140 years.”
Yeadon Town Hall Tavern was reopened in August after undergoing refurbishment as part of the town hall’s lockdown project.
