The Government has implemented a travel traffic light system for international travel which is based on the roll out of vaccines and Covid rates in other countries.
The Department for Transport (DfT) has announced which countries will be on the green list for travel from May 17 - these are countries you can travel to without having to quarantine afterwards.
Other countries are on amber or red lists - which mean there are much stricter rules around travel to them and do include a 10-day quarantine on return.

The Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has declared that people in England “should not be travelling” to countries on the amber list.
