Guiseley 2 Tranmere 2: Hurst at the double to earn Lions a point
Tranmere nearly took an early lead when former Sheffield United striker Michael Higdon hit the post with a header. Guiseley also got forward and threatened with Liam Dickinson hitting a free-kick which was parried away.
But the away side gained the advantage when a cross which Rob Atkinson tried to clear went past Dan Atkinson and into the back of the net.

The hosts nearly made the perfect start in the second half when Nicky Boshell’s effort was deflected past Tranmere keeper Scott Davies, but the effort hit the crossbar.
The away side took the lead again when Jake Kirby fired past Atkinson from 20 yards.
Guiseley though showed great spirit and were able to draw level almost immediately when Hurst again was in the right place to fire a shot home.
