Nathan Chadwick, Jordan Tate, and Ryan McQuade (2) were all on the scoresheet for the away side, while replies from Duncan Spence and Luke Clifford could not prevent Pudsey succumbing to their ninth defeat of the season.
Elsewhere, third-placed FC Horsforth Saints gained a comprehensive 9-1 triumph at home to bottom club AFC Elford. Azarro hit a hat-trick for Saints, with Walshaw, Watt, Pennington (2), Broughton and Tasker also finding the net. Ahmed Sharif scored the consolatory goal for the away side.
Derek Spence scored a brace for fifth-placed Halfway as they overcame FC West Leeds 3-1 at home. Lee Robinson also got on the scoresheet for the home side as FC West Leeds’ solitary reply came from Conor Pickard. Strikes from Phil Jarvis and Jamie Scott were not enough to prevent sixth-placed Corpus Christi succumbing to a 6-2 defeat away at seventh-placed West Yorkshire Falcons.
The weekend’s only game in Division 3A saw fourth-placed New Moorside run riot with a 5-1 home triumph at home to second-placed Republica Internationale. Braces from Dan Adjibona and Jordan Lee, along with a strike from Jamie Halsall ensured all three points New Moorside, with a solitary reply from Seamus Lundy providing mere consolation for the away side.
