The Whites landed a huge blow in the race for promotion this term

Jack Harrison says Leeds United must keep their heads 'screwed on' after a stunning 3-0 victory over Fulham at Elland Road.

The Whites landed a blow to Scott Parker's Cottagers in the Championship promotion race on Saturday afternoon as Patrick Bamford, Gjanni Alioski and Harrison all struck to seal the points in LS11.

United hit the summit of the table with the win as they leapfrogged West Bromwich Albion - who lost to Brentford on Friday night - into top spot.

Crucially, though, Marcelo Bielsa's men opened up an eight point gap over the third-placed Bees while leaving Fulham 10 points behind in fourth with just seven games of the campaign remaining.

Leeds took the lead after just 10 minutes but had to hold off a fightback from the visitors before tactical changes at the break - including the introduction of Pablo Hernandez - saw the Whites secure an important win.

United winger Harrison, though, believes it is not the time to get carried away in their quest for top flight football.
