Leeds recorded a fifth-straight league win and rose to the top of the division as Luke Ayling's third-minute thunderbolt was followed by a 51st-minute Patrick Bamford strike.
The 2-0 triumph left United with a seven-point cushion in the division's automatic promotion spots with just nine games left as third-placed Fulham were held to a 1-1 draw at Bristol City.

Dallas, though, felt United had emerged triumphant despite a far from vintage display with the left back haling what mattered most in the shape of another Championship victory.
"The most important thing is the three points," said Dallas
"A clean sheet is a bonus. We knew it was going to be difficult today. They have hit a bit of form.
They are still down at the bottom but they have been playing well.

"I didn't think we played really well to be honest but in the end we did enough to win the game."
