“We played some great stuff” - delighted Rhinos coach Richard Agar hails derby win
Rhinos ran in 11 tries in only their third victory of the season – having gone 6-0 behind inside two minutes.
It was Leeds’ highest score at the Jungle and their biggest away total in Betfred Super League since 2009.
A delighted Agar said: “We played some great stuff.

“I was happy we didn’t let the early try rattle us, we came back pretty quickly and pretty ruthlessly and the way we played in the first half was a tremendous exhibition of attacking rugby.”
Agar admitted Tigers were badly hit by injuries, but added: “I think that will be good for us, to get that feeling again of what our style and brand of rugby looks and feels like. We’ve shown in little bits this year, but not flowed it through set after set like we did tonight.”
Rhinos have no game next week and face St Helens at Emerald Headingley in 13 days’ time.

“We scored tries in a number of ways and that was a pleasing thing. We have the ability to score in different ways.”
Tigers coach Daryl Powell described it as a “terrible loss” and refused to use injuries as an excuse.
He said: “Some of the defensive efforts were unbelievably unacceptable. We were really poor.”
