Hide AdOf King, 22, Thornton said: “He has the potential to make a real impact in League One. He offers us something a little different in attack, his tall rangy running style leads to a great offload game and I’m looking forward to seeing him in action.”
Assessing his two other recent signings, Thornton noted: “Harvey is a bright young prospect and he is geared to the modern game. Danny has been an integral part of a very successful Old Boys [Parkside] set-up for some time now and a BARLA representative at various levels.
“He is well-renowned in the highest levels of the amateur game and has all the tools needed by a quality half-back in League One, with a great kicking game and good decision-making – and he is a very knowledgeable player too.”
