Indie icon Morrissey is set to return to Leeds for a summer show in Millennium Square.

The singer ascended to stardom as the frontman of The Smiths before embarking on a successful solo career, and will take to the stage in Millennium Square on Wednesday, July 12. He will be supported by Manchester four-piece The Slow Readers Club.

He becomes the latest to announce an outdoor show in Leeds city centre, following the likes of fellow indie heavyweights Kasabian, Blossoms and The Wombats. It will mark his first Leeds show in three years, having last performed in the city at the First Direct Arena in March 2020.
